The Editors at For Page & Screen Magazine are thrilled to announce a few updates to our zine’s submission guidelines!

1.

For Issue 5 ONLY, the deadline has been extended two weeks! Submissions for Issue 5 are now open through November 14th. All publication decisions will still be made within the original response window.

As of Issue 5 and for all subsequent issues, we have expanded our submission categories to include non-fiction works! This includes non-fiction stories, short documentaries, and documentary treatments.

Please keep in mind, our editors are drawn to narrative structure and story arcs. As such, documentaries following specific “characters” (whether those characters be people, animals, places, or issues) will likely find more success with us than those that are purely educational and informative.

All non-fiction categories are subject to the same restrictions regarding length, language, and content as our fiction categories.
